339: How to remove footer information in PrestaShop 1.5

The default PrestaShop setup displays a lot of information in the footer area. There are five basic blocks of information. Each block of information corresponds to its own module. You may want to remove a specific block of information when customizing your site. Below are the instructions on how to delete information from the footer of your PrestaShop 1.5 store.

Deleting information from the footer in PrestaShop 1.5

1. Log into your PrestaShop 1.5 dashboard.
2. Using the top menu bar, hover over the Modules tab and select the Modules option from the dropdown menu.
3. This brings you to the main modules list. From here you will be able to scroll through the list to locate the modules you want to disable. You can also the list slightly by selecting Front Office Features from the left hand sidemenu and also selecting Installed Modules from the filter dropdown at the top of the page.
   
   The module you want to disable will depend on which block of information you want to remove. Below is a list of the information blocks and the name of the module that controls that display.

   Follow Us	Block Social
   Contact Us	Block contact infos

4. After locating the module you want to disable, simply click on the Disable link. Our example here shows the CMS Block.
   
   After removing your selected modules, visit your site to confirm the information no longer displays. Below is a before and after view of what our test store looks like with all the modules disabled.
