How to delete a country in PrestaShop 1.5
In the last three articles, you learned how to create, modify, and disable a country. This article will take you through deleting a country in your PrestaShop 1.5 store. This feature is useful if a country is no longer in existence or if you simply no longer wish to service that country. Deleting a country removes all data for that country from the database. If you later decided to re-activate that country it would need to be created all over again. Follow along in the steps below as we show you how to delete a country in PrestaShop 1.5.
Removing a country in PrestaShop 1.5
- Log into your PrestaShop 1.5 admin dashboard.
- Using the top menu bar, hover over the Localizations tab and click on the Countries option.
- From the Countries list screen, click on the checkbox to the left side of the country you want to remove, you can select more than one county in this manner if you wish. Once you have selected your country or countries, ensure you have the Delete Selected option selected in the dropdown and click on the Apply button underneath the list.
The list will now refresh and your deleted country will no longer show.

Hello Mister Scott Michell,
I have read many articles from you, they are smooth and to the point, nice explaining to!
I have a prob, I have installed, one language, nl (Dutch), and have delete on the beginning, all the others.
No prob, all will works, but I have upload my products, 2600, via cvs. And now, when I use the search bar and search, they give me some products return, when I go to products, and click on the flag, next the productnam, they will appear when I search again..strange, the ID from the language are 4.
How can I chance all my products to come up on the searchbar?
I can't understoot, why these are happens, I have make no mistake in the cvs files about language choice, I think.
Are there an solution for this prob?
I'm running PS v18.104.22.168

Sorry for the problem. I found this issue reported in the bug section of PrestaShop's forums. The main issue though, is that the solution provided is listed for version 22.214.171.124. I have added a comment asking if their patch will also work for version 126.96.36.199. Please refer this link for the answer:
