Viewing the Search Engine Keyword report in PrestaShop 1.5

Our previous article was about the catalog statistics report. Next up in our Working with Product Stats course is the Search Engine Keywords report. The Search Engine Keywords stats report in your PrestaShop 1.5 store is an important part of your SEO plan. SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization and is the process of organizing information on your pages to be found and ranked as high as possible within the various search engines. Customers most often find sites by using the search engines and entering specific search terms, also called keywords, to narrow a search to what they are looking for. By finding out what these keywords are, you can change the information on your site to better match the most popular ones, increasing your rank in the search engines and getting more customers.

How to access the Search Engine Keyword report in PrestaShop 1.5

1. Log into your PrestaShop 1.5 admin dashboard.
2. Using the top menu bar, hover over the Stats tab and click on the Stats option.
3. This will bring you to the Stats page, where you can see various stats reports listed on the left hand sidebar. After choosing your desired date range from the top of the page, locate the Search Engine Keywords report and click the link.

   

   This report will list the keywords that customers are using in the search engines to find your pages within the date range you selected from the top of the page. The search engines that your PrestaShop store uses is from the list of search engines that you can also modify.
