The following article lists the steps involved in the login to the Administrator Dashboard. OpenCart has long been one of the popular freeware ecommerce systems available on the internet. The most recent version, OpenCart 2.0, has been re-designed to use responsive design.
- Open your internet browser.
- Type in the URL for the OpenCart Administrator Dashboard. For example, https://example.com/admin.

You will see a screen with fields for a Username and Password. Type in your administrator username and password.
- Click on Login to open the Administrator Dashboard interface. If you have any problems with your password, click on the link for Forgotten Password. After you have successfully logged into the Opencart Administrator, you will then see the summary screen for the Administrator Dashboard.
The screen shot below illustrates the screen that you will see when you successfully login to the Administrator Dashboard. The text descriptions for the menu on the left side of the screen is controlled by the button in the top left hand corner next to the label OpenCart.
