How do I transfer Exchange Essential 365 Emails through GoDaddy?
I have ten email addresses setup on GoDaddy 365 Email Essentials. There aren't many emails, but I need to import all of the users emails into the new InMotionHosting server so that we can begin getting emails through InMotion. I assume I will need to use Outlook. But, what is the process and the easiest way for me to do this for each user?
Thank you for your question about moving emails from your GoDaddy account to your InMotion account. If you are using the Outlook client, it's fairly easy. For each account, you can create a local account on a computer (with a lot of hard drive space - depending on the size of the email accounts). Basically, you're just copying all of the emails into a local folder(typically on your c: drive). Then when you have the new accounts created at InMotion, you login with that computer again (to InMotion), and then copy and paste the emails back into each respective account. That would be the easiest and quickest way to move the emails. This can also be done with other email clients like Mozilla Thunderbird.
