I have a teacher call from St. Louis who is also having trouble. So it is not just in TN.
Hello! What sort of connectivity trouble are you having? If the page simply does not load, the most likely cause is an accidental block by server security software. If it appears to be a network outage, please check our status page to see if anything is going on.
Visiting the site, it does not automatically redirect visitors to the secure version of the page, so you may be receiving security warnings. If that is the issue, please redirect visitors via .htaccess or through another appropriate modification.
If none of the above apply, please further describe the error you are receiving and we'll help you sort out what is going on. Hope that helps!
I am locked out of the stpaulkodiak.org system of pages due to an "attack." How and when may I have access once again?
Thank you for your question regarding site access. Depending on the type of attack, you may need to contact our Technical Support team for assistance in recovering your site data:
I am suddenly not able to access my website or the email account associated with the website. This previously was just an issue for my laptop but is not also not working on a couple other computers.
I cannot view the website or the my email associated with the website suddenly. It also will not pull up on my iPhone or iPad. The error message keeps saying that the server is not responding but I know that others have been able to access the site without issue.
Hi Jacqueline! The most common reason for this is a conflict with our server's security software and an incorrect email password. Since you mention iPhone and iPad, I'll also point out this is usually caused by auto-generated information in the Apple mail app, or another mail client that you may have tried once or twice but rarely used. If the passwords are out of sync, it can cause a security issue.
You should be able to follow the steps in the guide I linked to and clear it up once the security block cycles (usually less than half an hour), but if that does not work or if it takes an unusually long amount of time, please contact our 24/7 Support Team and they can manually reset the block so you can update your passwords. Hope that helps!
When I bring up my clients website I get this on any browser on my desktop, ecbiz263.inmotionhosting.com with my ip address. The site comes up on the phone, ipad and the laptop. What's going on?
When I bring up my clients website braseltonsafe.com, an html website. He just signed up for a dedicated IP and paid ssl certificate then I started getting this. Using FF latest version, flushed cache. Any ideas?
In that case, I'm guessing it's something like a browser extension or anti-virus software, but I have not been able to cause the behavior on my end so I can't really narrow it down. If you can't find anything that would be causing it, I'd suggest reaching out to our 24/7 Live Technical Support team. They can check error logs, connect to the server and look at likely problem files, and get a behind the scenes look at things while we in the Support Center can only really work with public facing information. Hope that they can help narrow it down!
`curl -IL https://cdn.podseed.org/` works on my local machine but on the server I get "curl: (6) Could not resolve host: cdn.podseed.org"
Thank you for your question. You may need to open a specific port in order to connect to that service. I recommend checking the documentation for the CDN you are using to see what system requirements may be necessary.
hi, I can't to connect to the vps by ssh (putty). I added public key to vps.
Thank you for your question about connecting to your VPS via SSH. I recommend reviewing the following article that outlines that process, including what username and password to use to login:
