Not sure what to transition to as Gmail no longer allowing forwarding

I have my business account forwarded to GMAIL as I have multiple accounts so want to receive them in one place.  Where should I move my account to?  I have a personal gmail account but can no longer see my business mail at gmail.  Is my only option to move to another mail client like Apple Mail? I don't see instructions on how to do this in support docs.  I also don't get any results from email configuration when I enter my email address. It doesn't return any info. Not sure what to do here.  Thanks all
