WordPress Version in Server

I installed the latest version of WordPress 4.7.2 through my website dashboard .In other words, if I upload the latest version through my website , will it also update it in my server? Where can I see that on my CPanel?

Hello,

Thank you for your question about updating WordPress. It is best advised to update WordPress from within the dashboard. You do not need to upload the latest version or access cPanel.
