I have 2 WP questions :

1) I am trying to update my theme with the genesis framework and child theme but when I log into the wordpress panel and select appearance there is no "Add" feature at the top of the screen.

2) I recently joined inmotion and have pointed my nameserves to inmotion. I installed WP using Softaculous but when I log into C panel it is not immediately clear how to get access to my blog to write post. for the record I can see the website/blog in the panel but when I vclick on it just takes me to a page with an IP address on it.

any help would be much appreciated.

Hello Blayneb,

Thank you for your questions about updating the theme in WordPress and accessing it for posting.

When you are in the back end of your WordPress, click on the Appearance option and then the Themes option. From there you can see the Add New button to add a new theme to your site. You will be able to upload the Genesis framework from there.

As for posting new posts, you will not do that within the cPanel itself. You will log into your admin back end at http://example.com/wp-admin (replacing example.com with your own domain name). From there, click on the Posts option from the left menu and then the Add New button at the top.

Kindest Regards,
