Unable to Log Into Piwigo Site

First of all I get this warings:
Warning: session_start(): Failed to read session data: user (path: ) in /.../include/common.inc.php on line 149
Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at .../include/common.inc.php:149) in .../include/page_header.php on line 101

Second of all:
When at piwigo/identification.php
I cannot log in as admin and I get redirected to a 404 subfholder of my localhost (as configured) but no usage of the piwigo site is possible.
FYI no .htcaccess file present at the subfolger of piwigo

Hello, Thank you for your question regarding being unable to log into Piwigo site. I see that you have php errors here as well. What method of installation did you use? I used the Softaculous automatic installer, and I was able to log in and use the gallery software. Are you able to see the /admin.php file? That is what I used to log in. If you are seeing the 404, it could be a permissions issue. That file may not be executable in your installation. Best, Christopher M.
