Create DNS records to authenticate with MailChimp

  • Answered
Mailchimp offers the following instructions to add DNS records to authenticate my domain:
DKIM: Create a CNAME record for with this value:

SPF: Create a TXT record for with:
v=spf1 ?all
I reviewed the help entry on creating DNS records, but am not sure which values go in the name and CNAME fields in cPanel's DNS editor. Will you please let me know?

Thank you for your question on creating CNAME records in cPanel. In the 'name' field, you would enter "k1._domainkey" and then place "" in the CNAME field.

Kindest Regards,
