Hello [email protected],

Sorry for the problem with logging into FTP. As per the error, it appears to be simply a login authentication issue. Reviewed account and latest chat support notes indicate that the issue has been resolved. If anyone has a similar error - "530 Login authentication failed" typically indicates that either the login or password was incorrect.

If you have any further questions or comments, please let us know.

Regards,

Hello, and thank you for your question. If you're having issues trying to connect to FTP, you can typically reset your cPanel password using AMP. However it sounds like you're able to login to cPanel in order to create a new FTP account? If you are able to login to cPanel, then you can simply use the same username and password that you used to login to cPanel for your FTP account. If you did create a FTP user in cPanel, please be aware when connecting with that FTP user, the full account must be used. For instance, if your cPanel account had the username userna5, and the domain example.com, and you created a new FTP user called newftp. In your FTP client you would need to enter the following as your FTP user name:
[email protected]
If you're still having issues accessing your account via FTP please let us know. - Jacob
