Are VPS Hosting accounts using AMP and Cpanel immune to the VENOM exploit?
Can VENOM effect any of the systems used on our shared servers? If so have they been patched?

Hello,

Thank you for your question about the VENOM exploit. In asking our System Admin team, they have advised that we are not suceptible to the VENOM exploit.

VENOM affects VPS and virtualization infrastructure (not AMP or cPanel). As such, there should be no impact to the shared servers as I believe those are all bare-metal.

I too, however would like a reply from IMH about the VPS infrastructure.
