Tier status is based on the annualized eligible recurring charges across your account, covering the server subscription and every product subscription attached to it. Billable cPanel accounts inside your account count toward that total, so you are credited for the full picture rather than a single line item.

Billing term matters here. A server billed at $4,800 on a two-year term represents roughly $2,400 in annual recurring revenue, not $4,800 in a single year. That trips up a lot of agencies comparing quotes.

Eligible recurring charges tied to your agency and its linked client accounts include:

Charges must be recurring, billed by InMotion Hosting, and associated with an account linked to your agency. One-time fees, taxes, complimentary services, and non-recurring professional services are not included.

Agency partners get access to tools designed to help manage both their clients and their growth. You can track referrals, commissions, and program resources from your partner dashboard, while also managing multiple client hosting environments, linking accounts, and making purchases on behalf of clients, all without separate logins. As the program grows, we’ll continue introducing enhancements to streamline workflows and improve collaboration across client projects.

Every partner gets 24/7 real human support. Qualifying tiers add Advanced Product Support, a dedicated Partner Success Manager, and an Executive Sponsor.

Advanced Product Support: You get priority access to InMotion’s most experienced technicians and your primary support channel for fast, accurate resolutions around the clock.

Partner Success Manager: Your dedicated point of contact who supports onboarding, checks in proactively, and helps you navigate hosting, reporting, and escalations to keep your agency operating.

Executive Sponsor: Your Executive Sponsor provides strategic guidance and advocates for your agency’s priorities across InMotion, ensuring visibility and support at the highest level.

Agency partners earn commissions when referred clients purchase hosting through their unique referral link. Commissions are paid for at least the first 12 months of a customer’s subscription, with longer-term plans earning commissions across their full term. Earnings are automatically tracked based on the purchase, with no manual follow-up required. Partners can also view referral activity, commission details, and performance insights through their partner dashboard.

Referral commissions apply to eligible new purchases attributed to your agency through your partner referral link or another approved attribution process. Clients living inside your existing server do not quality for commissions unless they purchase new hosting. The new account can be associated with your agency and counted toward your revenue under management.

No. Applying for the program is free. Once approved, you get immediate access to partner benefits, earning potential, and account management tools.

Agency partners gain access to co-marketing opportunities that showcase their expertise and help grow their brand. These include featured partner spotlights, success stories, social media promotions, and the chance to collaborate on blog content, webinars, and marketing campaigns with our team. As you move up through program tiers, you’ll unlock greater visibility and exclusive promotional opportunities to reach InMotion Hosting’s audience.

Client accounts already hosted with InMotion before you joined can be claimed and counted toward your Agency Partner Program tier, but they do not generate commission or partner discounts. Those apply to new eligible purchases made through your referral link.

Claiming still matters. Your tier determines your commission rate, your discount percentage, and which program benefits you have access to, so connecting the portfolio you already have here can move you up a tier immediately.

No. There is no minimum, no contract, and no requirement to move anything. Most partners start with one project, usually a new client or a site that already needs to move for other reasons, and expand from there as it makes sense.

Plenty of agencies keep clients spread across providers, and that is fine. The program works with whatever portion of your portfolio you bring.

Yes. Website migrations are included free at every plan level, including the Member tier, and can be completed with zero downtime to your websites.
