Incoming emails not working.

I was told my incoming emails would work after 24 hours. It's been about 3-4 days. My business cards are being picked up today and the biggest event of all time is tomorrow. The email address on my printed cards are not working and this is a huge mess for me. Please guide me as to why as I have less than 24 hours until I will be handing out my business cards.
