New account - No response from support.

I have signed up for a new account today and I got no email or phone call. I contacted support and had a live chat, at which point I was told that I was next on the list to be called.

Later, I sent an email quoting the chat log and asked when to expect account activation.

It's over 12 hours and I still haven't had an email response or a phone call.

What do I do now, as I have paid and have no way to access my account! If this is the level of support I can expect as a new customer, then I would rather cancel my new account.

Could somebody advise?


Sorry for the problem with the account confirmation. I reviewed the account and it appears that you were sent an email (to a @yahoo address) at 4:27 PM EST today. The confirmations team does not call certain time zones depending after hours. There was definitely an earlier attempt to call you, but the call did not go through. You are welcome to respond to the email or call in directly yourself. The contact information is at the bottom of the page (you would speak with Billing). I do apologize that there was a problem in getting your confirmation completed right away, but there is a record of their attempting to do so.
