Hello, Sorry to hear you're having problems with the PrestaShop checkout page. When I tested it, I'm seeing that some pages are missing graphics. I'm not sure what's causing that, but I would highly recommend that you download the base files for your PrestaShop version (1.5.6.2) and then make sure that the PrestaShop files (in the Zip file) are re-loaded into your PrestaShop installation. Before you do anything to your installation, make sure to run a full backup. Basically, we want to make sure that ALL of the PrestaShop installation files are where they're supposed to be.
