Requirement to start an ecommerce site

Hi,
I would like to know if I am going to develop a ecommerce website, what is the next steps to do after register the hosting with inmotion?
Once I have chosen the shopping cart, I need to install it to my local PC? or in your hosting site?

The cart is something that is installed on the server. There are several eCommerce solutions out there such as WooCommerce running on WordPress, PrestaShop, and OpenCart. I recommend taking a look at these to see what you like best.
