I am looking for a way to restart mysql from the cpanel. When I try to log in to my php admin it says mysql is offline, also when I try and access mysql database from Sequel Pro it is unable to connect. Is there a way to restart from the AMP or cPanel that I am overlooking?

Hello John, Sorry to hear that you're having trouble restarting MySQL. Unfortunately, there is no way for you to restart the service unless you have the appropriate access per the type of account. Resetting the MySQL service is only available on VPS or Dedicated server accounts. The best way for you to get this done if you do not have access is to simply contact our live technical support team (available 24/7), verify your account (with either the last 4 digits of the credit card on the account or the AMP password) and then request the database restart. They can then have it reset for you and also investigate the reason your MYSQL server is offline. Make sure to check theInMotion Hosting Server Status if you have a business level account.
