How do I log into my opencart admin

I've modified my root config.php and my admin.php files to https:// because I got my SSL certificate for my eCommerce store. After I followed the instructions and modified the files I can't log in to my admin panel. Did I missed something? I did notice that my url now had the https:// present, so how do I reach my admin panel. Help please!

Hello Manny 2013, I'm sorry to hear that you're having problems with the SSL. I'm not able to view your website to see what's happening, so you will need to share a little information with us. Did you follow ALL of the steps in the How to enable SSL connection in OpenCart article? Primarily the first step is what I'm wondering about. Did you make the setting change in the OpenCart Dashboard first. If you didn't, then go back to your configuration files and put them BACK to non-ssl and then see if you can login to your Admin panel. If you can, then make the change in System Settings to use SSL. Then you would need to once again change your configuration files. Please let us know if that fixes the problem! If you still need further assistance, let us know! Regards, Arnel C.
