I've just started building a Word Press website. I have a set of about 20 or so pdf newsletter files, each about 400-1000 kb. On my old site, I jsut uploaded these to a file section and had a document download table.
So how do I do something like that in inmotion hosting? I think I'm able to upload the files somewhere and then link from my WP site, but don't know how.

Hello Remwpgca, I'm sorry to hear that you're having problems with placing the newsletter files on the server. The best way to handle this is to simply use the WordPress structure, or create a brand-new folder under the public_html folder for your PDF files. It would probably be easier for you to create a separate folder under the public_html folder. The PUBLIC_FTP folder is used for reporting and not for customer use. You can use the file manager in the cPanel to create the new folder and even upload the files. Just remember that the folder that you create should go under the public_html folder. The path that you will specify for the pdf file will look like something like this (note: I named my folder 'pdf'): http ://domain_name/pdf/pdf-file-name.pdf I hope this clears up the confusion.
