I built my website using Dreamweaver and uploaded it. Everything looked great. However, I have a blog section in my website and want to use Wordpress to manage and post to the blog. The problem is that every time I try to install Wordpress it goes over the top of my current website. Do I need to host the blog on a different domain? Can I host the blog in a different directory?

Hello kschmidt, Thank you for your question. Yes, you would have to install Wordpress in a different directory. For example if you want to the blog located at: example.com/blog You would install Wordpress in a folder called: blog Which would be located in: public_html/blog You can do this using softaculous, by entering "blog" (without the quotation marks) in the "In Directory" option. If you have any further questions, feel free to post them below. Thank you, -John-Paul
