I just created an add-on domain, but making nameserver changes, it's telling me that the zone check failed and no SOA record is being returned

Thank you for you question scattercode! I checked the DNS on the server and the domain was added correctly and the nameservers are correct. The DNS serial number in red below shows the DNS records were made on 04-24-2013. Please see below. ;; AUTHORITY SECTION: pt. 292 IN SOA ns.dns.pt. request.dns.pt. 2013042406 21600 7200 2592000 300 You may still need to wait for the DNS to propagate. Please allow up to 24 hours fro the DNS to take effect. For more information on DNS propagation, please see the link below. Domain Names - How long do DNS changes take? Best Regards, James R

Hello Scattercode, Sorry for the issue you're seeing with the add-on domain. I just checked rental-retreats.pt on a WHOIS query to see if the domain is registered. It's not registered as far as I can tell at this time. . Creating an add-on domain does not register domain, and this is required for any domain that will be used on the internet. Additionally, if you just registered, domains are not available immediately as there may be some propagation involved. More information on domain propagation can be found here: Domain Propagation If you have any further questions, please contact technical support available 24 hours a day / 7 days a week.
