can't login to control panel

hi. i can't login to my control panel anymore. it accepts the password starts redirecting but then takes for ages until i get the message: "can't open the page because the server where the page is located isn't responding." i turned off my firewall etc. but it's still not possible. what can i do?

Hello roohm, and thanks for your question. I took a look at the cPanel access log and I do see some login attempts from your IP address from 2/20 that appear to be successful. Then it appears that today there were several failed login attempts from our server that runs your AMP (Account Management Panel) interface. Please let us know if you're having any problems getting logged in when directly going to login to cPanel at the following URL:

This would be the same as using your domain name, so if your domain name was you could use:

Looking at the logs it does look like several users are experiencing some login problems, but not all users. Our development team has been adding features and improving the AMP interface, so I'm guessing that could have something to do with this. I'll be sure to get this issue looked into and fully resolved, in the meantime please let us know if directly accessing cPanel for now is a viable option for you. - Jacob
