I use squirrelmail (1.4.22)to send and recieve email from my inmotion hosting web address. Recently I have been told by several people that when they send an email to me they recieve a message that it was not deliverable. I believe, but am not certain, that this has only occured from people sending mail from Hotmail accounts. Any thoughts? Many thanks!

Hello SLL, A bounceback usually occurs when the sending server is blacklisted from the receiving server. As emails come in, they are checked against a reputation list to see if they are allowed. If the sending server has a bad reputation of sending spam, then emails from that server are not allowed. There can be other reasons for the bounce as well, but that is the most common. The best way to tell would be to see the exact bounce message that the senders are receiving. If you can get one from one of your senders via another email account, you can send it to us at [email protected] and we can check out the codes within the headers. Best Regards, Scott M
