Hello Dave,

We're sorry to hear that you're having problems with logging into your page because of the login being temporarily disabled.  Typically, you can wait 15 minutes and then the login page should work.  However, the reason you're seeing this page may be the result of something called a "Brute Force Attack."  Basically, it's a repeated attempt to login to your site by some entity.  We do have several steps you can take to prevent this from happening.  Please review this article:  WordPress wp-login.php Brute Force Attack.  If you're in the middle of the lockdown, you can still access your WordPress installation using the cPanel File manager.  Use recommendation #3 to lockdown your WordPress admin access.  This will allow you to stop the attacks and then recover your login page.

If you have any further questions or comments, please let us know.

Kindest regards,

Arnel C.

Sometimes, this can occur if you have too many password failures in a row. One way to prevent this would be use a password manager in your browser or a third-party solution like LastPass.

If there's another reason or a different error you're seeing, I'd advise paying close attention to any actions you take around the error to see if you can replicate it. Then we could troubleshoot further.

Hello.

Thanks for posting your question regarding how to fix your WordPress login being temporarily disabled. I'm sorry to see that you are experiencing this issue. The best way to resolve this issue is to hide your WordPress login page. You can accomplish this in two ways. Our guide, WordPress Login Temporarily Disabled – FIX provides more information to help you out with both methods.

I hope this helps!
