Did I do something to block my site from google?

I've had my site for many years with another hosting company and in June, left that hosting company and came to inmotion. When I was with the other company my site would pop up near the top with certain keywords. Now it doesn't even show up when I put in my name! I totally redesigned the site as well, this time in Wordpress, so I'm wondering if I did something to block googlebot when I created the new look. My website is www.raynababette.com. Thanks for your help.

Hello Positive, I'm sorry to hear about your problems with the search engine rankings. This is unfortunately a complicated matter that has a lot to do with search engine optimization. We don't really provide technical support for that type of thing, but we can try to point you in the right direction. Search engines don't often like it when top ranked page all of a sudden disappears, so that particular page will lose rank when URLs are changed without warning. You can work to get your results back up, but it will take time. You may to research the search engines for Search Engine Optimization options. Here's an article that may help you with your current site: How to get your site into Search Engines You can definitely block search engines, but only if you have coded your site to do so - and this typically done with a file called ROBOTS.TXT. I also know that there are SEO plugins for Wordpress. Use a search engine to search for what may best fit your needs and you can load it into your Wordpress site to help with your rankings. Hopefully, this information will get you pointed in the right direction! If you have any further questions, please contact technical support or leave a comment at the bottom of the page.
