I'm within 14 days of my domain name expiring and want to switch it over. How can I do this?

My domain name expires on July 15th. I already purchased a one yr. webhosting package with your company and get a free domain transfer but your site won't let me transfer. I don't want to pay my old hosting company and you guys too! How can I do this? Do I have to wait until my domain name expires?

Hello Sharleyte, You can certainly still transfer the domain within that time frame. The AMP tool will not allow it as it does take up to 14 days to transfer a domain between registrars, though it rarely hits that limit. Our support team can submit the transfer request manually for you. To do so, you would need to contact our support department (open 24/7) with that request. Be sure to validate your account with either the last 4 digits of the credit card on file, or the current Account Management Panel (AMP) password. Be sure to also include the domain name and its transfer code from the current registrar. I hope this answers your question.
