How can I fix the WP eStore plugin to work properly?

I've been testing the WP eStore plugin, which seems highly rated. But the plugin is having a problem with one critical file called 'download.php' that handles the final encrypted link the customer uses to download a digital product. The settings page for eStore says (in red) that it can't find the above file in the plugin directory, even though the file is definitely there. Checking online, I see that others have had this problem now and then, with no clear solution why. So I'm wondering if anyone on InMotion already has this working (at least I'll know it does work.)
Btw, I saw some mention that perhaps an open_basdir restriction had something to do with it, but I have no idea. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi CPL, Thanks for posting your question. I'm more than happy to assist you today. What is the exact error message you are getting? I found a thread that you may find helpful: Wp eStore plugin errors I've never used the plugin personally, I'm happy to look into it for you. I'll need you to send your WordPress login information to [email protected] so I can look in your dashboard. You mentioned that you were testing the plugin. Did you purchase this plugin? If you need further assistance please feel free to contact us. Thanks! Tim S
