Is there a way to add an email alias?

  • Answered
It appears I will have to add a second email account then forward one to the other. But the documentation says I will end up with 2 copies of the email, one in each account. That means the account I'm not checking will fill up.

[email protected] is our salesman. He has his own account. [email protected] should forward to him without the entries in the sales mailbox accumulatine. How do I do this?

Hi Pointyhair,

Thanks for posting your question. I'm more than happy to assist you. If you want all the emails to forward from the [email protected] to [email protected], you can delete the [email protected] email account in cPanel. Then set up the forwarder to forward all the emails from [email protected] to [email protected]

Since the email is only being forwarded and never actually reaches the sales account, it will not store them. It will forward them over without leaving a copy at [email protected] since it doesn't exist.

I hope this helps! If you need further assistance please feel free to contact us.
