Spammed with emails claiming my account has been hacked

The emails appear to come from my own email account, and claim the hacker has my password. They want either money or Bitcoin. I have changed my email password, and my main CPanel password, but I am still getting the emails. Does anyone know how I can block these emails?

Hello. Thank you for posting your question regarding the Spam emails that you are receiving. I recommend configuring your domain to authenticate emails that are delivered over your domain and server. This is accomplished by setting up an SPF record in your cPanel. Once you have done that then emails that are spoofed using your domain name will no longer be allowed to be delivered unless sent from the server/IP address you indicate in your SPF record. You should also enable DKIM if you have not already done so. I hope this helps! Sincerely, Carlos D.
