Subdomain and cost associated

Hi, on one of my websites named www.quebecwebsolutions.com I want to add a subdomain that will be named "formation".
My first question is: Is there a cost for adding a subdomain or is it free?

Second question: On the subdomain site which will be www.fomation.quebecwebsolutions.com will I be able to have a new WordPress Installation so I can have a different theme than my main website?

Hello rdizazzo, Thank you for your question about subdomains. Yes, subdomains are free, and yes you can install a WordPress installation on that domain. You can use Softaculous to select the domain and install WordPress, or you can do a manual installation in the directory for the subdomain. Best, Christopher M.
