Can my previous hosting service renew a domain now managed by Inmotion
One of my domains, currently registered with InmotionHosting, would have expired next month if I had not transferred it to I nmotion. My previous web hosting company sent me ab email saying they will renew it. Can they actually do anything? The domain is now managed by Inmotion and won't expire until next year at this time?
Thank you for your question about domain management. If the domain is now managed by InMotion then it is likely your previous registrar sent you an automated reminder. If the the domain is fully managed by us then they cannot make any changes to its status.
However, it may be wise to make sure the former registrar will not renew your billing and charge you for any more services regarding that domain.
