renewal of domain delayed indefinitely

Tried to renew domain which had expired due to credit card compromise and was told it would take two days because of the changeover from Melbourne/IT to Open SRS. That was last week and I called today and it is still not done and tech support said they don't know when. Surely this could be escalated to someone with authority to get something done. The website and emails tied to the domain are a business which is dead in the water now. Anybody?
Hello, Sorry to hear about the issue with domain renewal. I have no information on any issues between Melbourne and Tucows. Anyone of authority on the domain would be with one of those two companies.
