WHM adding a previously deleted account

I'm new to the reseller account and added an account then terminated it because I did it wrong. But now when I try to add it back in, I get an error that the account username is the same so it won't let me create it. Is there a way to clear that old one completely so that I can add it back in?
Hello, Thank you for your question regarding WHM. If you are not able to remove the account via WHM then you may need to contact our support department to have them remove it has it may be a fail safe to prevent users from remove accounts by accident. Best Regards, TJ Edens
