Hi,

There seems to be a problem with my email step (I've changed MX records to reroute to gmail). Bounce report as follows:

Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently:

Technical details of permanent failure:

Google tried to deliver your message, but it was rejected by the server for the recipient domain c********s.co.uk [198.46.81.210].

The error that the other server returned was:

550-Please turn on SMTP Authentication in your mail client, or login to the

550-IMAP/POP3 server before sending your message. mail-vk0-f52.google.com

550-[209.85.213.52]:33635 is not permitted to relay through this server without

550 authentication.

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers,

Chris.

Hello Chris, Thank you for your contacting us about an issue with your email hosted at Google. This error indicates you need to authenticate with the email system. This means you must login to google servers using a username and password. I recommend checking these settings in your client (whatever you are using to send email). Also, make sure you have set your email routing to remote, so your cPanel knows it is not handling email for your domain. If you have any further questions, feel free to post them below. Thank you, John-Paul
