Tried the instructions at https://www.inmotionhosting.com/support/community-support/cpanel/how-to-give-ftp-access-to-hired-web-developer-part2 to give a db user with read only rights access to a phpMyAdmin database, but the link indicated [my domain]/phpmyadmin generates this error message:

Error 404 - Not Found
The document you are looking for may have been removed or re-named. Please contact the web site owner for further assistance.

Has the process changed? Or is it different for a VPS account? Thanks, Tony

Hello Tonyrboies. I think a better way would be for you to add a user to an existing database and give it only read/select privileges. You can find out how to add users to a database in this tutorial. Please be sure to add their IP address to the remote MySql firewall so they may connect to the database remotely.
