CVS Import Parameters for PrestaShop 1.6.0.11

I have just created a CSV file for my Categories in PrestaShop, and have gone through the procedure of importing them. There were (10) warnings that came up (links were rewritten to eliminate caps). Was this successfully imported?
Also, where is this file if I need to make changes in the future?

In your CVS Import Parameters instructions: UPLOADING THE FILE
there are two ways to register files to import:
1. Use browser, click "Add file" button (Where is this button?)
2. Use FTP client (Filezilla) to upload files in the /admin-dev/import folder of PrestaShop installation. (How do I do this, and where is this folder located?)

Thanks.

Hello cjdodaro, Thank you for contacting us about importing CSV files in PrestaShop. If "links were rewritten to eliminate caps," it sounds like it changed capital letters to lower case, although I cannot confirm this. The only way to know for sure, is to review the items you imported when the error occured. Make sure they are as you wanted. After importing the products, it may be easier to manage them from your PrestaShop Dashboard. We have many articles on this topic in our PrestaShop 1.6 section. You will have to export the products, to a file and edit them, then re-import them into PrestaShop. Here is a similar question we answered titled Updating products from CSV in prestashop. Our guide on Uploading Files covers both methods you have mentioned (File Manager, and FTP). If you have any further questions, feel free to post them below. Thank you, John-Paul
