I recently migrated a newly redesigned site from a testing URL to a client's existing url. The domain also unknowingly hosted another one of their urls. In the process I deleted the second site. Luckily some back ups were made to bring all the data and databases back online- now the site is returning the following error :

"Site off-line
The site is currently not available due to technical problems. Please try again later. Thank you for your understanding.

If you are the maintainer of this site, please check your database settings in the settings.php file and ensure that your hosting provider's database server is running. For more help, see the handbook, or contact your hosting provider.

The mysqli error was: Access denied for user 'campus19_drupal'@'localhost' (using password: YES)."

I am not proficient in drupal ( more of a wordpress kinda guy, myself) and I am stumped as to how to resolve the issue. Please advise

URL of problem site www.fairelectionslegalnetwork.org

Thanks in advance!

Hello, In regards to you domain name, I was double-checking your account and found the fairelectionsnetwork.com domain listed on the account. It was however in them middle of being transferred. Domain transfers may take 7-10 days to complete. Sorry again for the confusion about your domain name. Please allow for the transfer to complete before using the domain to access the website. You were likely getting the database error because the domain was still attached to its previous hosting location. Regards, Arnel C.

Hello, Thanks for the question and sorry for the problem with the database connection. I actually was trying to see the error when using the URL, but I found that the domain name is registered. When I ping it or attempt to identify the name servers, this domain doesn't show. That would be a problem that needs to be fixed by registering the domain name. If you're using a different URL and you're getting the database connection error. Check out our tutorial, https://www.inmotionhosting.com/support/website/database-connections/is-mysql-available">Database Connection Error. This goes over the different requirements to connect to the database. I hope this helps to answer your question, please let us know if you require any further assistance. Kindest regards, Arnel C.
