Wordpress users gone missing

It is the 4th time or so that a couple users (out of about 150) go missing in my wordpress membership site, for no apparent reason. I have not done any recent updates. Why is that happening? How can I prevent this to happen? Is there a way I can track what users get deleted?

Hello, Sorry that you're having problems with some WordPress users appearing to be removed from your WordPress installation. I checked to see if this were a common problem, but this hasn't been a tracked issue with WordPress in the last several years (per their support forum). Typically, the only way to make these changes is to do them through the administrator dashboard. Fortunately, their are plugins such as Stream which allow you to audit changes being made to your WordPress site. This will allow you to track what's being done. I hope this helps to answer question.
