Pointing subdomain using A records

Our main domain (colonialkc.org) is managed through Network Solutions. We are attempting to create a classifieds site using a sub-domain (classifieds.colonialkc.org). I have gone into the A records at Network Solutions and pointed this subdomain to the ip address listed in the Cpanel under "Advanced DNS Zone Editor." is there anything else I should do?

Hello colonialkc, Thank you for your question. Since the record in the Advanced Zone Editor can be modified, you will want to make sure the A record (at Network Solutions) is pointed to your Shared IP.
