Creating a subdomain in WHM with separate cpanel

We need to create a subdomain in WHM with separate cpanel.
example demo.company.com
in the cpanel of company.com we created an A record pointing to the Server ip address(same ip as our Shared IP Address in company.com) which is a reseler cpanel.

in WHM we created a new account with demo.company.com...

now when I do a DNS lookup on demo.company.com, nothing is returned. and the url is not working..

did I do the right steps for Creating a subdomain in WHM with separate cpanel?.

These steps are perfectly fine. Keep in mind that it can take up to 24 hours for propagation to take place. Typically, it is around 4 hours. If you ware still unable to get to this subdomain after 24 hours, I recommend contacting technical support as they will be able to give you account-specific information that cannot be provided via this public forum.
