Activate Chrome Frame via .htaccess?

Can anybody out there guide me (step-by-step) so I can activate Google Chrome Frame via my .htaccess file? Google Chromium says add this:

IfModule mod_setenvif.c
IfModule mod_headers.c
BrowserMatch chromeframe gcf
Header append X-UA-Compatible "chrome=1" env=gcf
/IfModule
/IfModule
(there should be angles around the four IfModule statements, but ifI leave them in, they disappear in this question box)

Do I simply type that into my (nearly empty) .htaccess file?
Thanks!

Hi opusfl,

Thanks for posting your question. I'm more than happy to assist you today. Yes, if it says to add it to your .htaccess file, then you would need to copy the code and paste it into the file. That's it!

However, I'd like to read ver the document you are getting to code from so I can give you exact steps to accomplish. Also, it would benefit me to fully understand what you are trying to do.
