I am struggling to get solution of issue which i am currently facing. Lately, we have upgraded our website with SSL and redirected the entire site from http to https with all urls. The site is currently added to Google Webmaster Tools as www.pnrstatusbuzz.in and all the pages are indexed without using SSL. Do I just submit a updated sitemap which has the HTTPS URLs or Do I add a new site as https://www.pnrstatusbuzz.in and submit the sitemap with HTTPS urls?

Hello ryanrajpoot,

Thank you for your question about submitting your sitemaps. It is not required that you do so, but it is certainly recommended. Google will crawl its cached version of your site to serve search results. This means Google may still serve the older http: results until the site is crawled again. Submitting your sitemap will help make sure that Google receives the new URLs to serve accurate results.

Best,
