What's the best way to fix multiple 404 errors?

I've found I have a number of 404 errors. I'm hoping this doesn't hurt my SEO, so is there a way to fix all of these at once?

The best way to fix 404 errors is to track all of the links that generate 404s on your site, then either fix or remove those links from your website. "Fixing" a 404 error is done by either correcting an incorrect link or providing the missing media referred to by the link. You can use a stats program like Awstats (in the cPanel) or Google Analytics to find all of the 404 results from your site.
