Problem with automated action in Prestashop!

I have two Prestashop stores in my account, the primary one ( is working perfectly but the second one ( does not send confirmation email to the customers after placing the order and also doesn't decrease the sold item quantity from the stock. I can receive and send support mail to the customers and even a test mail to another email address within my server but it just doesn't send out the confirmation mails automatically!!
