Maybe it was sending out spam and you suspect it’s been hacked. A good solution is to suspend the email account or put outgoing email on hold. This will stop the email transmissions immediately, which can protect your mail server from being blacklisted or flagged for spamming. You can easily suspend an email account directly in cPanel. Then, once you have figured out the problem, simply unsuspend it to resume sending and receiving emails. So, follow along and learn how to suspend and unsuspend email accounts in cPanel. Suspend/Unsuspend Email Accounts Log into cPanel.Click the Email Accounts link in the Email section.You will see your email accounts listed. Keep in mind there may be multiple pages. Click the Manage link next to the account you want to Suspend or Unsuspend.Scroll down to the Restrictions section and choose your settings. Below is a chart of the available options: Setting Options Receiving Incoming Mail Allow or Suspend Sending Outgoing Email Allow, Suspend, Hold (emails will be queued) Logging In Allow or Suspend Check the box if you want to “Stay on this page after I click Update Email Settings.”Once you have chosen your email restriction options, click the Update Email Settings button.
