Hello Hubert – Apologies for any confusion, but when we’re talking about “resetting” or “formatting to its prior status” we just need to be very clear. A domain is a name used for a website. For example, the domain name of InMotion Hosting’s website is www.inmotionhosting.com. It sounds more like you’re trying to format your website to its original or earlier design. This article about cPanel is purely for formatting the interface of cPanel – not your website. So, if you want to bring your website back to an earlier design, it would have to be done using a backup of the website or you would need to re-format the current design through code or a tool so that it’s back to what you want it to look like. The only “automatic” way of doing this is to restore from a backup. I hope this makes it clear. If you have the original files used to load the site to the hosting server, then you can also re-load those old files and your website will appear as per the formatting in those files. If you still have any further questions, please let us know. We’re happy to help!
