Create Temporary Directory First you will need to create the temporary directory. Log into the cPanel Click the File Manager button, then navigate to the folder where you want to create the file. Click the Folder icon found in the top-left of the toolbar. After clicking the icon, a popup box will appear for you to name the folder. For our example, we name the folder tmp. Click on the Create New Folder button once you name the folder. Configure Update Setting Now that you have created the temporary directory, you will need to add this absolute file path to the Update Settings for WHMCS. Log into the WHMCS Administrative Dashboard. Navigate to Utilities > Update WHMCS NOTE: If prompted, enter your WHMCS Administrator password. Click the Configure Update Settings button.
