Problem with known problem. Created a new item (Large Fabric Pet carrier). Should be associated with the category (Pet Carriers). Unfortunately, when trying to associate the new product with the Pet Carriers, the category tree will not show up under ASSOCIATIONS....nothing but the HOME is there. Upon researching this I found out that it is a well known bug. I need help recovering the category tree under ASSOCIATIONS.
LARGE SOFT SIDED FABRIC PET CARRIER NEEDS TO BE ASSOCIATED WITH (PET CARRIERS). I need help with this and am giving you the login for my back office. I can proceed no further with creating new items until this is figured out. Please help me.
Please Note that bolsosbags.com doesn't work and it shows me an error "HTTP ERROR 500", but the Back Office is working using Prestashop as a CMS.
Please note also that the other hosting providers provide me a www Folder and not only Public Html, so why dont you use the same thing.
We have had a number of websites/domains hosted by yourselves for around 12 months now with no issues. Suddenly today (18/10/2017) we are unable to access the websites without getting the error Error 500 - Internal Server Error or Error 403 - Forbidden.
The sites are running Opencart 2.2 and access to the front end and admin are limited due to these errors. NO CHANGES have been made to the sites or the hosting plan.
I have checked the logs in CPanel and found this error reoccurring;
[Wed Oct 18 05:56:58.375293 2017] [:error] [pid 894290:tid 139887294600960] (24)Too many open files: [client xx.xxx.xx.xx:xxxxxx] couldn't set child process attributes: /home/xxxxx/public_html/index.php
As i have stated, no changes have been made to the website, the code, modules, or any other element of the websites.
If you could advise that would be great.
One or more indexers are invalid. Make sure your Magento cron job is running.
When I check cron job logs, I see the following entry over and over:
bin/magento must be run as a CLI applicationX-Powered-By: PHP/7.0.22
Content-type: text/html; charset=utf-8
Until I get the cron jobs fixed, I cannot install any additional modules. Please advise. All assistance will be greatly appreciated.
